Dad and Grandpa Install our Hot Tub

Yeaaaaaaa! I really fixed our hot tub this time! It's working again!

Ok, so what happened the last time I "fixed" it you ask? Well, my Dad and I just installed it and the wiring needed some "cleaning up" shall we say. This way the wiring remains dry during rain storms. Well what do you think happens when a color blind person does electrical wiring? You guessed it! I crossed the hot and the ground which burned out the control board and one half of the pump motor. 

After calling in a professional to assess and repair the wonderfully warm bubbling water machine he first laughed at me when I told him the story exclaiming "I love people like you!" and then identified the components I needed to replace to fix it and save about $1800 dollars. What a guy!

I ordered the parts and just completed the repair. IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIVE!

Moral to the story besides leave it to the pros, or cheap is not always better, etc, etc, etc,. Don't trust a color blind artist! or make sure your electrician can pass a color test!
